Participating in the Street Associations initiative
Terms and conditions
The following terms conditions apply, on the registration of a Street Association, to the use of the name “Street Association” and to participation in the Street Associations initiative.
1. The purpose of a Street Association is to create and maintain a spirit of community, in which all residents are valued and the common good is sought.
2. The common good includes seeking to care for others and behaving with respect and concern for others in the community.
3. The Street Association shall be open to all residents of the area covered, without exception. In particular, no one shall be excluded from membership on the basis of race, religion or any other form of prejudice.
4. The Street Association shall not be used as a vehicle for private financial advantage or for party political advancement.
5. Nothing shall be done in the name of this Street Association which might bring the Street Associations initiative into disrepute or undermine its charitable objectives.
6. By registering a Street Association, permission is granted to Uturn UK C.I.C. to place the person registering it on a mailing list, only to be used by, and for, Uturn UK C.I.C. and the Street Associations initiative.
7. The Street Associations initiative is an initiative of Uturn UK C.I.C. The name “Street Association”, and the “Street Association – love my street” logo, is used by permission from Uturn UK C.I.C. and the participation of a Street Association in the Street Associations initiative is also by permission from Uturn UK C.I.C.
8. Permission to continue to use the name, use the “Street Association – love my street” logo and to continue to participate in the Street Associations initiative may at any time be withdrawn by Uturn UK C.I.C., at which point the name “Street Association”, and the logo, will no longer be used.
